Tallow Salve

We formulated our tallow salve for difficult skin areas, skin that is dry, cracked and calloused. Dry, cracked and calloused hands and feet can be unsightly and may even be embarrassing, and can even progress to painful. We combine our triple filtered, grass-fed, slow rendered tallow with unrefined ethically sourced shea butter and the best beeswax from a local honey producer. The tallow will be readily absorbed into the skin, the shea butter will penetrate lock in moisture and the beeswax will help create a protective barrier so your skin can heal and repair. Trust our tallow salve to give your skin the care it deserves.

Uses: For feet, use before bed for best results. Massage the tallow salve into the skin and wear socks to protect the bedding. For rough, cracked and calloused hands, we recommend using the tallow salve twice to three times daily for the first five days, then once or twice daily for maintenance depending on exposure to harsh environments. 

Our beef tallow is sourced from local farms that implement the best animal husbandry practices. We carefully select suet from grass-fed cows to ensure a vitamin-rich product. Our suet is rendered slowly in our farm kitchen to preserve the integrity and benefits of tallow, while minimising any unwanted scent. Our tallow stays hard at room temperature yet melts and glides effortlessly onto your skin. The shea butter is imported by an Adelaide company that works with small woman-owned farms in Ghana, ensuring fair trade and sustainable farming practices. Kapunda Honey, a local honey producer, uses bee friendly hive management and traditional methods of honey production, to maintain the beautiful integrity of honey. 

Available unscented, Geranium essential oil, Geranium and Cedarwood essential oils, and Peppermint-eucalyptus fragrance oil.
