Snoot & Beans Dog Tallow Salve

Do you have a hard working dog or perhaps a pampered pooch that loves attention. Snoot and Beans is just for your best mate. Use to soften paws and heal cracks. Use on their nose to keep it soft for nuzzling. Use it on their ears to help repel flies and mozzies. Or just use it to soften up their coat or any dry crusty skin. A tin of Snoot & Beans will indulge you and your best mate in a bit of love and care.

Uses: For toe beans, use before bed for best results. Massage the tallow salve into the pads of the feet.  For a dry snoot we recommend using the tallow salve twice daily for the first five days, then once daily for maintenance depending on exposure to harsh environments. Anytime the flies are plentiful and annoying, rub a small amount of salve on your hands and work salve on their coat around the face and ears, avoiding the eyes. The neem oil and small amount of tea tree oil have been shown to keep away insects. 

Our beef tallow is sourced from local farms that implement the best animal husbandry practices. We carefully select suet from grass-fed cows to ensure a vitamin-rich product. The suet is rendered slowly in our farm kitchen to preserve the integrity and benefits of tallow, while minimising any unwanted scent. Our tallow stays hard at room temperature yet melts and glides effortlessly onto your skin. The shea butter is imported by an Adelaide company that works with small woman-owned farms in Ghana, ensuring fair trade and sustainable farming practices. Kapunda Honey, a local honey producer, uses bee friendly hive management and traditional methods of honey production, to maintain the beautiful properties of their products
